Confirmation and Cancellation of Booking
A deposit – 25% of the estimated cost of the wedding arrangements – with a signed booking form is required at the time of booking. Should the wedding be cancelled at later date the deposit and any further subsequent payments are non refundable.
Payment Schedule
- At the time of booking – initial deposit 25% of the initial cost estimate
- 30 days prior the Ceremony – balance payment
- Two weeks before – final numbers, dietary requirements, room allocations, security bond $750 and final payment
Security Bond
A security bond of $750 is requested to ensure that finish times and venue hire times are adhered to. All guests to leave the venue at 10.00 p.m. or set finish time and they have safe transport arrangements in place. In-house guests are not to encourage non-in-house guests to stay on past venue closing times. Any damages will incur a repair charge over and above the security fee. The bond will be retuned in full with a stress free finish to a happy event on final checkout.
Tentative Bookings
A tentative booking will be held for seven days only, and will automatically lapse unless confirmed.
Packages
If you wish to make changes to the selected package, the price of the arrangements is recalculated.
Transport Arrangements
Guests over twenty are to be transported by bus. We suggest the use of a mini bus. Please contact us for arrangements.
Guest numbers
Hilltop Chapel is licensed for 70 people.The final number of guests is required two weeks before the function date. If the actual number of guests for some reason is higher, the same per person rate is used that was based on the numbers valid two weeks before the function date. If the actual number of guests is less, there is no refund.
Responsible Service of Alcohol
Responsible service of alcohol rules apply and Hilltop on Tamborine requests that the hosts of the function assist with any infringement that incurs. Should any situation escalate the security bond below will apply and removal of persons and or closing of the event will unfortunately occur.
Accommodation
It is required that minimum five rooms be booked if you are having your wedding with us.
Food Tasting
We are unable to offer food tasting.
Food and Beverages
No food are to be brought into Hilltop on Tamborine grounds or premises. Beverages can be brought to be served during the reception. The serving of beverages will close 15 minutes before the function finish time.
Damages and Banned Products
Guest organisers of the function agree to be liable for any loss or damage to Hilltop on Tamborine equipment or property during an event as an action of invitees or guests of the organiser. Hilltop on Tamborine does not allow anything fixed or attached onto property itself. Hilltop on Tamborine will take the utmost care, but no responsibility will be taken for any loss or damage to merchandise, decorations, cakes or other personal property prior to, during or after wedding. No metal cut sprinkles, glitter or confetti is allowed. No soap bubbles or rose petals are allowed inside the Chapel. Rose petals (not the silk ones) and bubbles are allowed on the lawn areas only.
